Collected in the Ft Denaud Member of the Caloosahatchee Formation in 2004
Brantley Pit, Desoto County, Arcadia, Florida. Gelasian Pleistocene 2.2-2.4 M.Y.A. Collected and identified by: Melanie Briskin This specimen shows the spots under UV light and most visible to the eye. It has a really nice body and spire with the usual very minor lip chips. This specimen is a must for any fossil cone collector from a long defunct pit.
