Waller, 2018 Collected in the Jupiter Waterway Member of the Murdock Formation in a lake being dug insitu in the lake wall in June 2021. North Port, Sarasota County, Florida. Zanclean Pliocene 4.4-5.3 M.Y.A. Collector: BH#3 Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data of this fossil Pecten. This is a very rare complete pair of this hardly seen species. One small crack in one valve but both valves are sealed together by matrix. This is a great Rarity in very few if any private collections now..
