Latirus stephensae 42.55mm. Lyons 1991-Extinct Collected in the Golden Gate Member of the Tamiami Formation on 11/30/14 Aggregates Pit, Bonita springs, Florida.- Also believe to exist in the Caloosahatchee Formation. Lip slight chipped back but rarely perfect. Exists in the Caloosahatchee Formation as well.

Pusula dalli mulepenensis 9.74mm. Petuch & Drolshagen, 2011-Extinct Superb Rare. Collected in the Golden Gate Member (Petuch Unit 4 Equivalent, Upper Beds) of the Tamiami Formation on 02/02/2020. Lindaconus streami 2 5/8” or 62.67mm. Petuch, 1994-Extinct Collected in the Fruitville Member (Petuch Unit 3) of the Tamiami Formation in April 2022. An F+near/F++ Purpuriconus kulkulcan 15.75mm. Petuch 1980 Collected by diver at 40-50’under coral slabs in Jan 1989 N.W. Roatan Island, Honduras. Some call this a form of C. cardinalis. Minor lips chips but hard to get now.

Aggregates Pit, Bonita Springs, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.6 M.Y.A. Pair preserved and full of cement-like matrix. Usual chips on valves but mostly intact. A really nice piece to display.

An F++Chicoreus (Triplex) virgineus 3 ½” or 86.50mm. Roding, 1798’”Dark”Collected by a diver on reef rubble at 10-15 meters in 1990.Manar, Sri Lanka. This darker color is much rarer. Not offered from Sri Lanka in this dark form as much anymore.   

A F+/ F++ Cymbium cymbium 4 ½” or 111.12mm. Linne, 1758 Netted by fishermen at 30-60’in the 1990’s SW Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. Some of the usual laquer is sometimes put on by fishermen from Africa is common. It can be removed if the buyer wants to.  

An F+/F++Siratus tenuivaricosus 2 5/8” or 66.34mm. w/o. Dautzenberg, 1927 .Trawled by Fishermen at 25-40 meters on sand and hardbottom with coral in 2012. Guarapari, Espirito Santo, Brazil.   

An F++ /NG Vexillum (pusia) articulatum 6.20mm. Reeve,1845 Collected live under rocks at low tide intertidally in 1980. Fresh Creek, Andros Island, Bahamas. Superb little specimen!
