An F++Siratus tenuivaricosus 2 1/2” or 61.14mm. w/o. Dautzenberg, 1927 .Trawled by Fishermen at 35-45 meters on sand and hardbottom with coral in 2012. Guarapari, Espirito Santo, Brazil.    

An F++/NG Chicoreus florifer 2 7/8” or 73.32mm. Reeve,1846 Collected by a diver on hardpan bottom at 8-10’ in the 1990’s Berry Islands, Bahamas. Collector: Unknown. Operculum lost.  

An F++/NG Hexaplex princeps 1 5/8” or 40.90mm w/o. Broderip, 1833 “Superb Dwarf” Diver collected 6-7 meters on rocky bottom in 1999.Manabi, Ecuador.   

An F++/NG Hexaplex cichoreum 1 7/8” or 48.96mm. w/o. Gmelin, 1791-“Dark Dwarf” Collected by local diver at 6-8 meters in 1/92. Mactan Island, Philippines. Nice dark dwarf shell,   

An F++ Chicoreus (Triplex) emilyae  1 7/8” or 49.17mm. Petuch,1987- “Peach/Orange” Trawled by Local fishermen in 100-150’ of water around sand and rocky bottom. Offshore of Punta Patuca, Honduras. These are hard to get now in the orange color. Some workers are calling this florifer. However, the difference in the fronds can be seen clearly show this species to be different from florifer. 

An F++/NG Hexaplex cichoreum 2” or 50.45mm. w/o. Dunker, 1869-“Dwarf”Collected by a diver at 10-12 meters in 2012. Bohol Island, Philippines.   

An F++/NG Orania fusulus 23.28mm. w/o Brocchi, 1814 Diver at 30 meters on sand and rubble bottom in 1999. Malaga, Spain.   

A Fine Neptunea tabulata 3 1/8” or 79.20mm. w/o Baird, 1863 Trawled live at 90 meters in 1980’s British Columbia.   

An F++ Epitonium scalare 2 ¼” or 55.91mm. w/o. Linne, 1758 Collected at 80-90 meters by local fishermen in 2016. Negros Island, Philippines. This is a larger specimen than Normal.

An F+ Lyncina kuroharai 1 3/8” or 31.40mm. Kuroda & Habe, 1961-Sub-Adult.Trawled from deep waters at unknown depth. Taiwan. Rare shell that is sub-adult so has to be rated F+ .  

An F+/F++Ceratostoma burnetti 3” or 76.94mm. Adams and Reeve, 1849-“Gorgeous”Collected by diver at subtidal depths. South End of Wando Island, South Korea. Gorgeous, winged specimen with operculum lost.  

Pseudadusta (Bithloa) kalafuti 2 7/8” or 73.04mm. Petuch, 1994-Extinct.Collected in the Fruitville Member (Petuch Unit 3, Middle Bed) of the Tamiami Formation in Dec- February, 2023. Lake Dig Site with insitu specimens. Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 2.58-3.0 M.Y.A. Collector: MJ. Identified by Melanie Briskin. Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data of this fossil Cypraea.   

Two Near-Gem to Gem Pseudozonaria arabicula (2) 25.85mm & 24.02mm. Lamarck, 1819. Collected by diver in shallow water amongst rocks in 1990. Las Perlas Islands, Panama.   

A “Dwarf” F+++/NG Trona stercoraria  1 ¾” or 45.92mm.Linne, 1758 Collected by diver at 3-5 meters in 1999. Cameroon, Victoria, West Africa.   

An F+/F++ Siratus consuelae 1 ¾” or 43.80mm. Vokes, 1963 Collected in Fisherman’s traps set at 100- 120meters in the 1990’s Port Louis, Guadeloupe, Lee Ward Islands, Lesser Antilles, Caribbean.   

Hystrivasum horridum 3’ or 76.19mm. Heilprin, 1886-Extinct Collected in the Ft Denaud Member of the Caloosahatchee Formation in 2004 Brantley Pit, Desoto County, Arcadia, Florida. Gelasian Pleistocene 2.2-2.4 M.Y.A. Collected and Identified By: Melanie Briskin.
