An F++/NG Chicoreus (Triplex) brevifrons 2 1/4” or 55.16mm. Lamarck, 1822-Magnificent. Collected by Scuba diver at 12 meters in the 1990’s Tobago, West Indies. Extremely dark and quite rare in collections  

Hippopus hippopus 4 5/8” or 118.12mm. Linne, 1758-Decorative Bear Claw Clam Collected by fishermen in the 1970’s on mixed bottom. Punta Engano, Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines. This is a nice decorative specimen.   

An F+/Near F++Vexillum citrinum 2 3/4” or 70.62mm. Sowerby, 1828-Magnificent.Obtained from Local Fishermen from Unknown depth in the 2000’s. Toliara, Madagascar.

An F+/Near F++ Umbilia hesitata beddomei 3 3/8” or 82.49mm. Schilder, 1930.Trawled at 35-50 meters on sand and rock bottom in October,1980.  Eden, N.S.W. Australia. A nice specimen with sand trapped undewr the enamel which is common to this species.   

An F++ Barycypraea teulerei 1 5/8” or 40.72mm. Cazenavette, 1846 Collected on sand at low ride in 1995 Masirah Island, Oman.   

An F++Siratus ciboney 1 5/8” or 40.19mm. Clench & Farfante, 1945-Superb.Trawled at 140-160 meters in 2000’s by local fishermen.Port-Louis, Guadeloupe, Lee Ward Islands, Lesser Antilles, Caribbean. This is another wonderful specimen.

An F+ Marmorofusus brianoi 4 7/8” or 123.77mm. w/o Bozzetti, 2006 Trawled by Fishermen at 100 meters in the 2000’s  Lavanono, Madagascar. very hard to find and is not being offered much!    

A Near-Gem to Gem Cribrarula gaskoini fischeri 15.34mm. Vayssiere, 1910 Found by scuba diver at 40’ on coral plate feeding. Oahu, Hawaii. A must have variant believed to be the male of the species.   

An F++/NG Chicoreus axicornis 1 5/8” or 40.97mm. Lamarck, 1822 Collected in tangle nets by fishermen at 15-20 meters in the 2000’s Sogod, Cebu, Philippines.   

A Near-Gem To Gem Lyncina sulcidentata 1 3/8” or 32.01mm. Gray, 1834  Collected by scuba at 30’ in coral reef amongst coral and rock at night in the 1990’s. Oahu, Hawaii.   

An F/F+ Amusium pleuronectes 3 1/8” or 77.56mm. Linne, 1758 Trawled on sand bottom at 30-40 meters by fishermen in 2000’s Singapore. Valves looked edged or smoothed as they usually are if there are no chips in the valve. However, very pretty pair and great displayability.   

Siphocypraea (Seminolecypraea)trippeana 2 1/8” or 53.30mm. Parodiz, 1988-Extinct Collected in the Pinecrest Member (Petuch Unit 7) of the Tamiami Formation in 2022. Found in a lake site being dug for a land site. Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida. Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.4 M.Y.A. Collector: BH#3. Identified by Melanie Briskin.
