Lake being dug on land site, Sarasota County, Sarasota, Florida, Piacenzian Pliocene 3.0-3.4 M.Y.A. Collector BH#3. Identified by Melanie Briskin. Collector and true locality will be divulged in the final data on this fossil Carolinapecten. Another magnificent specimen pair one of the best we’ve seen in a long time!!!
