Collected in the Port Charlotte Member of the Bayshore Formation in 2007
Burnt Store Pit, Lee County, Cape Coral, Florida. Messinian Miocene.5.3-6.3 M.Y.A. Collected and identified by: Melanie Briskin. This pair like most is cemented together by matrix. Sorry these always have some chips in the valves but they are extremely rare.
